Adoptions/Rescue/Foster:

We support the rescue efforts of the Ark of San Juan as they rescue dogs/cats/etc. from owner relinquishments and the County of Orange Shelter which is a kill shelter.

Welcome to Bed N' Bones

Bed n Bones Dog Ranch is located in beautiful San Juan Capistrano. We are less than 2 minutes from the Junipero Serra exit off the 5 freeway and 73 tollroad. Bed n Bones is one of the only facilities in Orange County where dogs can be outside running and playing not couped up in a warehouse or cage. We believe dogs should not spend their days in a cage. Our dogs enjoy a property filled with giant eucalyptus trees, watching wildlife, running and playing. Each dog is fed and sleeps in their own area where they are able to see their friends. We place each dog near a dog they liked during the day. The dogs are tired from a day of playing and sleep quietly with their friends around them and the sound of the T.V.

Our dogs spend most of their day in one of our 5 play yards. We divide dogs by size, play styles and energy level. Dogs must be well socialized to be in this environment. All dogs require a doggy trial prior to boarding to view temperament and allow your dog to feel comfortable prior to your vacation.

Reservations are held only after shot records have been faxed by your vet and an application has been filled out. Send us an email letting us know breed, time of vacation, etc. and we will send an application back.

Our dogs are our best testimonials. Most dogs know they are coming to the ranch as soon as they get off the freeway. You will be amazed to see how excited your dog will be when he comes back again and again to Bed n Bones. Your dog will have his own vacation and give you peace of mind while you enjoy yours!!!.

Little Ones: Our little ones have an indoor area which connects to 2 outside play yards. They are able to run back and forth or just follow staff around as they do paperwork and clean. Our little ones get mini treats and special attention.

Nature Walks:

Schedule a nature walk for your dog while you are gone. The cost is $5.00 for a 15-20 minute hike and if your rancher has good recall, they can be off leash. (This means even if a rabbit runs by …)
